Over the years, severely worn teeth can develop from continuous grinding, clenching and overexposure to highly acidic food and drinks. Finally, gum lifts and reshaping are often applied in conjunction with tooth restorations. The removal of excess gum will expose more tooth length while preparing for the placement of veneers or crowns.
